Analizing a sale advertising, the aesthetic and communicative functions, the verbal and visual message, the denotative and connotative aspect; translating an image through a symbology; making a proportion between the number of pages and the pieces of advertising of some weekly and monthly magazines. It is important to educate the pupils about the deceptive messages of advertising and, at the same time, to stimulate their imagination in producing a “progress advertising”, representing subjects of great interest, which bother and frighten our society, such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, prostitution, violence on women and children, racism, bullying, war, children’s work, industrial safety, driving, renewable energy, environment. In this way they will be awakened together with adults to the problems of our society.
